The WEDICO Truck and Construction Models GmbH is the successor of the original company Wesenfeld, Dicke Co. which was founded on 1st of June 1893 and therefore has the benefit over 110 years of experience.
The materials we use to construct our models are die-cast aluminium, aluminium sheets, stainless steel and high impact plastic components. The WEDICO designers have worked tirelessly to develop the WEDICO system of construction which will be continue to the basis for all future new and advanced developments as well as for the WEDICO Complete Kit programme.
Readers of ‘Truckmodell magazin’ have awarded our highly detailed models the prestigious title of ‘Model of the Year’ on several occasions. All of our Truck Models are on a 1:16 scale and our construction models are on a 1:14.5 scale. Each model builder has the possibility of designing his personal model.
All components can be screwed together in our kits instead of being glued. Our excellent after sales service combined with the high manufacturing quality of our kits are further aided by our fully illustrated, simple to understand assembly instructions. With our large catalogue of electronic accessories, all models can be upgraded to a fully functional R/C model including such features as lights , horns etc. All kits can be built with R/C due to a large accessory programme as well as electronic and power driven technology options . For all further questions our excellent after sales service will be happy to help . Our products differentiated significantly from conventional plastic model building. You will be able to exchange parts or modify your model with the latest components available without having to buy a completely new set. If you do not require an R/C model, we can also offer non R/C versions.
All painted metal parts such as roofs, driver cabin, side-spoilers and side-guards are powder coated to give a professional finish. In addition to our standard colours we can also offer powder coating in all RAL colours on request.
